The Meson Globe Valve DN 15 to DN 150 PN 40 features a ductile cast iron body, metal seated screw down stop valve, rising stem, bolted bonnet, and a raised face flanged connection (Fig. 467102/01). This valve is ideal for use aboard ships, handling hot and cold water, oils, and other liquids. It is suitable for start/stop and throttling of sea water, water, and oils, and is particularly designed for sea direct applications. The valve follows the DIN 86251 STOP Type (DIN 3356) design code, with flange drilling for PN16 (DN15-DN150) and PN10 (DN200-DN600), and pressure ratings of PN16 (DN15-DN150), PN10 (DN200-DN250), PN6 (DN300-DN350), and PN4 (DN400-DN600). Variations include options for regulating discs, non-return discs, and stainless steel trim, along with open/close indication. Additional dimensions and materials are available upon request.
