Badger Meter ModMAG M4000 Badger Meter has a sophisticated design and features the latest micro-processing signal conditioning. This product uses an accuracy of ±0.20% with a flow range of 300:1.It can be used for gas and oil applications. Measurement not affected by pressure, temperature, and changes in viscosity. This product complies with ANSI/NSF, Annex G.

Operation: 

Badger Meter ModMAG M4000 operates by inducing a voltage through any conductor. The voltage is proportional to the speed of the conductor. The electrodes which are installed diametrically inside of the fluid are measured by the voltage induced in the liquid. The magnetic flux density, the distance between the electrodes and the average flow velocity are proportional to the induced signal voltage.
